I feel that communication devices are an important tool in today's world for the handicaped. Communication devices are used all the time for special need students. For example in my own life and in my job communication devices play a huge key. I work at a home for the mentally challenged and I am constantly using communication devices on a daily basis. One girl can only speak a few words so she has an electronic touch pad that allows her to press the picture she wants and the device speaks for her. I feel this is so important and when ever possible they should be used people with disablities need to communicate to the world too. Her's is a very basic device and it only does a few words but for her it works because she has limited mobility.
